Instructions

  1. 1

Combine the jasmine tea and cold water in a large jar or pitcher. Stir gently to ensure all the leaves are submerged.

  2. 2

Cover and refrigerate for 10–12 hours (overnight is ideal). Do not exceed 14 hours.

  3. 3

Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a clean pitcher. Discard the spent leaves.

  4. 4

Sweeten with honey or simple syrup if desired. Taste first — cold brew jasmine is naturally sweet and floral.

  5. 5

Serve over ice with a sprig of fresh mint. Keeps refrigerated for up to 4 days.

Pro tip

Use high-quality loose leaf jasmine tea for the most aromatic result — the cold brew process extracts the floral notes beautifully without any bitterness. For a layered drink, pour over ice and top with a splash of lychee juice. This is also wonderful served straight from the fridge with no ice.
