Instructions

    Place tea bags in a large mason jar or pitcher. Pour cold filtered water over the bags.

    Cover and refrigerate for 8–12 hours (overnight is ideal). Do not steep longer than 14 hours or the tea may become astringent.

    Remove tea bags without squeezing. Sweeten to taste if desired — cold brew dissolves sugar slowly, so simple syrup works best.

    Serve over ice with lemon slices. Keeps refrigerated for up to 5 days.
